Heartland Art Center announces call for Art for Youth Art Month 2026

The Heartland Art Center is now accepting artwork for its Youth Art Month 2026 Exhibit, a countywide celebration of creativity featuring artwork by Marshall County youth. The exhibit will be on display throughout March 2026 at the Heartland Art Center in downtown Plymouth.

Youth Art Month is open to all Marshall County students, including those enrolled in public schools, private schools, and homeschool programs. Students may submit artwork created at school or at home, and participation is open to a wide range of artistic styles and media.

To ensure the exhibit is accessible to students and families across the county, all Marshall County libraries will serve as artwork collection locations. This option allows students and families who may not be able to deliver artwork directly to the Heartland Art Center to submit work through a convenient local drop-off site. Schools and libraries have received information to share with students and families, including registration details, deadlines, and collection logistics.

The Youth Art Month exhibit highlights the importance of creative expression, encouragement, and access to the arts for young people while offering students the opportunity to share their work in a professional gallery setting.

Complete submission guidelines, deadlines, and online registration forms are available at heartlandartcenter.org or by calling 574-936-9515.

The Heartland Art Center’s mission is to support area artists, provide and teach the arts to our community, and make arts experiences accessible to everyone.
