A client in the Prairie View Group Home was arrested early Monday morning, March 25th after Plymouth Police were dispatched for a supposedly intoxicated resident.
Officer Schieber responded to 703 West Jefferson Street at 1:10 a.m. for a resident causing a disturbance. During his investigation, the suspect was identified as 20-year-old Brayan Molina-Vasquez.
Molina-Vasquez was ultimately taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on the pending charges of illegal consumption and possession of a false government-issued identification card. He was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
