Two huge Putnam County institutions are coming together to bring music, local businesses and people together this August as Greencastle Music Fest is teaming up with the Putnam County Convention and Visitor's Bureau to help drive regional tourism this summer.
The Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau (GoPutnam.com) will serve as the Official Accommodations Partner, helping to push overnight stays and regional tourism, according to officials.
“Greencastle Music Fest continues to grow as a destination event for Putnam County,” said Jared Jernagan, Executive Director of the Putnam County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This partnership allows us to
highlight our local accommodations while encouraging visitors to stay, explore, and experience everything our community has to offer.”
Through this collaboration, attendees will be directed to GoPutnam.com “Where to Stay” resources, making it easy to plan a full weekend experience in Putnam County.
“Greencastle Music Fest was built to bring the community together through music and shared experience,” said Gail Smith, Founder of Greencastle Music Fest. “Seeing it continue to grow while supporting local businesses and welcoming visitors to our town is incredibly meaningful.”
Greencastle Music Fest is a "cornerstone" community event, bringing a high energy atmosphere and family-friendly atmosphere to downtown Greencastle. This year's event will be held Aug. 21 and 22. For more details, visit greencastlemusicfest.com or www.goputnam.com.
