A young Greensburg man was killed in a Henry County car crash Monday.
Indiana State Police and the Henry County Sheriff's Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Road 3 just south of County Road 700 S near Spiceland just after noon Monday.
A preliminary investigation determined that Dillon Micheal J. Conlin, 19, of Greensburg, was driving a 2010 Ford Focus southbound on State Road 3 south of County Road 700 S. For an unknown reason, Conlin left the roadway and collided head-on with a tree.
Conlin was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators determined speed was a factor and concluded that Conlin was not wearing a seat belt.
The Spiceland Volunteer Fire Department, Henry County EMS, Davis Towing, and Henry County Coroner Brian Clark assisted Indiana State Police in this investigation.
