With warmer months underway, the Town of Culver is reminding golf cart owners that all carts operated within town limits must be properly registered and display a current 2026 sticker.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim issued the reminder on behalf of the town, noting that unregistered carts found operating within Culver are subject to a $150 ordinance violation.
Golf cart owners can find registration information and complete the process by visiting the Town of Culver's official registration page at https://www.in.gov/towns/culver/services/golf-cart-registration/. Culver Town Hall is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Along with registration requirements, the town is also reminding residents of the rules governing golf cart operation within Culver. Golf carts are prohibited from traveling on state highways, including State Road 10 and State Road 117. Carts are also not permitted on sidewalks, trails, or in Culver Park.
Additional regulations include: all passengers must be over 36 inches tall, drivers must hold a valid driver's license, and operators must comply with all standard motor vehicle laws.
