A 911 call to the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center about a crash sent county officers to U.S. 30 and Beech Road east of Bourbon.
On Monday, July 7, at approximately 3:06 p.m., the Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call about a two-vehicle injury crash on U.S. 30 at Beech Road.
An investigation by Deputy Brown revealed a 2005 GMC Sierra driven by 81-year-old Charles Middaugh of Argos was traveling south on Beech Road and pulled into the path of a 1997 Dodge Caravan that was traveling east on U.S. 30 in the right-hand driving lane. The Dodge was driven by 60-year-old Scott Prince of Elkhart.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Bourbon Police Department, Bourbon Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, and the Indiana DNR.
