The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met Wednesday afternoon at the newly opened Harry Lee's Restaraunt located on the south side of Red Hill State Park on U.S. 50 between Bridgeport and Sumner.
Chamber officials joined with owner Jeremy Fessel. his wife Jaime and staff for a ribbon cutting and official grand opening ceremony. The restaraunt opened in early May and is open daily Wednesdays through Sundays 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily and serves a variety of food including burgers, fish, steaks and pasta . Reservations are no longer necessary. Chamber Executive Director Amy-Michelle Seed reported to the board that preparations continue for the upcoming Independence Day Parade and Tailgate on Friday July 5th. Anyone wanting to enter the parade or be a part of the tailgating activities can contact the Chamber office during regular business hours. It was also reported that the recent Heeps of Jeeps Festival held at Highland Woods in Vincennes was a rousing success with around $100,000 raised for first responders in both Knox County Indiana and here in Lawrence County.
