The Toussaint Dubois Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will present a program on cemetery preservation work at its next meeting later in June.
The presentation will be on Monday, June 16th at 6 p.m. at the History Center in downtown Lawrenceville by tombstone restorer John Fish.
Fish is a native of Lawrence County who graduated from Lawrenceville Township High School in 1968. His remarks will focus on pioneer cemetery maintenance techniques including overgrowth removal, gravestone cleaning and gravestone resetting.
The program is free and open to the public.
