A 13-year-old boy is expected to be fine after a weekend incident at Turkey Run State Park.
The boy was airlifted from the park to an Indianapolis hospital Saturday evening after diving into shallow water. Initial reports indicated the boy complained of head and neck pain and some numbness in his extremities.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Department the boy is expected to make a full recovery and be released from the hospital today, though no direct contact has been made with the family.
The boy has since been released from the hsospital.
