The following information is summarized from the records of city, county and state police agencies.

Jail Booking

• William A. Frison, 30, South Bend, was arrested Monday on a preliminary charge of driving after having been judged a habitual traffic violator. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and Southway 31 and held on a $2,500 surety bond. 

Police Incidents

Altercation
• At 12:45 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that an altercation possibly involving a gun occurred at a property off State Road 25 near County Road 400 North. A resident in the area would later report that she had sent friends to care for her sheep and a neighbor began arguing with them. The situation reportedly escalated, leading to statements being gathered from both parties involved. 

Animal calls
• At 3:08 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that two dogs jumped on a young girl near county roads 400 West and 100 North. It was later stated that the dogs' collars were not been working correctly, with advisement given to get them fixed and a report forwarded to animal control. 
• At 7:29 p.m. Monday, police received a report of possible animal abuse after a dog was observed dead in bushes of a home in Delong. Animal control was to follow up. 

Property damage
• At 9:43 a.m. Monday, police received a report that someone with a U-Haul drove over a yard at Arbor Woods Apartments, 500 Michell Drive. The incident was reportedly captured on video and management wished to pursue charges for the damage. 

Medical call
• At 11:21 a.m. Monday, police received a report that a driver pulled over near 3980 N. Old U.S. 31 after getting dizzy and thinking he was going to pass out. He was subsequently checked over by medics and released. 

Shooting complaint
• At 2:16 p.m. Monday, police received a complaint about someone shooting a firearm at a property on the southwest side of Nyona Lake. The individual was found to be using a proper backstop. 

Welfare check
• At 3:05 p.m. Monday, Fulton County Dispatch followed up on a report that a 13-year-old girl had stopped replying after initially contacting the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. A dispatcher was able to communicate with the girl via text and ensure that she was OK. The dispatcher also sent additional words of encouragement as the girl completed her homework.

Fraud
• Shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, a resident of Bittersweet Lane requested to speak with an officer about fraud, advising $50,000 had been taken from their bank account. 

Reckless
• Shortly before 6 p.m. Monday, police received a report that someone on a green four-wheeler was driving recklessly in the area of Franklin and Walnut streets in Akron and nearly struck a child.

Harassment
• Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, a resident of Westwood Lane reported receiving threats of violence. The threats reportedly stemmed over a cellphone and whether it was purchased outright or simply borrowed.
