Attorney General Rokita announces Indiana government will receive $154,000 from generic drug manufacturer and individual Hoosiers could be owed money

Attorney General Todd Rokita today announced a settlement with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a generic drug manufacturer that allegedly conspired to inflate prices and limit competition, will bring Indiana $154,000.

“We continue holding Big Pharma accountable when they harm Hoosiers by putting profits over people,” Attorney General Rokita said. “These companies must be made to honor their ethical and legal obligations to consumers.”

Indiana is part of a coalition of 48 states and territories entering into a $29.6 million settlement with Glenmark. As part of the settlement agreement, Glenmark has agreed to comply with antitrust laws and implement internal reforms to bring about fair competition.
