Timothy Sturm has been assigned as a new patrol officer for the Indiana State Police Evansville District in southwestern Indiana.
Sturm is a native of Olney, Illinois, and graduated from East Richland High School in 2015. He later attended Olney Central College and earned a degree in Administration of Justice.
Before joining the Indiana State Police, he served as a police officer with the Olney Police Department from 2019-2025. Sturm recently graduated from the Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and will primarily patrol Pike County.
Sturm is married and resides with his wife and 2-year-old son in Gibson County, Indiana.
