Following the input from county government leaders and the schools, planning is underway for the 45th annual Parke County Youth in Government Day for December 11.
The Rockville Rotary Club has booked the Fellowship Hall at the Rockville First United Methodist Church for the noon luncheon that expects 24 participating seniors, 12 from each Parke County high school, to arrive at the Court House in Rockville at 9 a.m. to begin the day.
The noon luncheon for the seniors, school officials, government office hosts and Rotarians will be held at the Rockville First United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
The local Purdue Extension Office coordinates the host offices for the event.
