VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (DLC Media) - Air Quality was a topic of discussion for Vigo County Schools. This past week, 12 different buildings within VCSC were tested in a voluntary air quality check. During the examination, six schools were found to be in good shape. However, five schools either had a positive reading for mold or high carbon dioxide levels._x000D_ _x000D_ The schools that had a room that had mold issues were Riley Elementary and Terre Haute South High School. The Schools have already taken action to remedy this issue. Superintendent Chris Himsel did point out that the state inspection would not have flagged the schools that had one of the two outlying issues. The rooms should be completely restored this week and them they will be retested.
