On Sunday at approximately 6:18 p.m., the Marshall County Sheriff's Department was notified of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident near State Road 10 and Filbert Road.
The caller advised that the driver, Jonathan Lace, 65, of Rochester, had complaints of neck pain. Argos Police, Fire, and EMS arrived on the scene and rendered aid to Lace.
When Deputy Haygood with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived, he learned that Lace was riding a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and had failed to navigate the curve. He was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department received assistance at the scene from Argos Police, Fire, and EMS, Parkview EMS, Lutheran EMS, and Lyons Wrecker Service.
