4C Health has announced that ChatRx is now available to clients and community members, providing fast, convenient access to physician-reviewed virtual care for many common acute illnesses—anytime, day or night.
Accessible directly through the 4C Health website, ChatRx offers a simple, secure way to receive care for a variety of common conditions, including sinus infections, urinary tract infections, pink eye, skin conditions, respiratory illnesses, and more. Individuals can complete a brief chat-based online health assessment from their smartphone, tablet, or computer and receive a physician-reviewed treatment plan without scheduling an appointment or visiting an urgent care clinic.
When medically appropriate, prescriptions are sent directly to the patient's preferred pharmacy.
The ChatRx platform is free to access, with no membership fees or subscription costs. In addition to treating adults, ChatRx provides care for children as young as two months of age and adult dependents. School and work excuse notes are included with every treated visit when clinically appropriate, making it easier for families to manage healthcare needs without disrupting their daily schedules.
"At 4C Health, we are continually looking for innovative ways to improve access to healthcare for the communities we serve," said Dr. Carrie Cadwell, President & CEO of 4C Health. "By partnering with ChatRx, we are expanding access to timely, affordable healthcare that fits into people's busy lives. Whether it's late at night, over the weekend, or when getting to an appointment is difficult, ChatRx offers another convenient
option for receiving quality care."
Developed by physician and healthcare innovator Dr. Tod Stillson, ChatRx combines advanced technology with physician oversight to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Every patient encounter is reviewed by a licensed physician, ensuring individuals receive appropriate treatment while identifying those who may require a higher level of care.
Dr. Stillson said: "For more than 30 years as a family physician in Northern Indiana, I've seen how often people delay care because of transportation challenges, scheduling conflicts, cost concerns, or simply not being able to access care when they need it. ChatRx was built to remove those barriers by providing fast, affordable, physician-led care that is available anytime, anywhere. We are proud to partner with 4C Health because of our shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare and helping people receive the right care at the right time."
The addition of ChatRx complements 4C Health's mission of improving access to healthcare services across north central Indiana by removing common barriers such as transportation challenges, scheduling conflicts, and long wait times.
ChatRx is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, allowing individuals to seek care whenever they need it—without an appointment or video visit. Community members can access ChatRx by visiting 4CHealthin.org and selecting the ChatRx option from
the website.
"Healthcare continues to evolve, and we're proud to bring innovative solutions that make receiving care easier and more accessible," added Dr. Cadwell. "Our goal is to meet people where they are and provide another trusted resource to help them stay healthy."
