Shelbyville golf defeats another HHC opponent

Shelbyville girls golf collected a second win this season over a Hoosier Heritage Conference opponent.

The Golden Bears defeated New Castle Friday, 203-207, at Westwood Golf Club.

New Castle’s Audrey Lapp earned the medalist honor with a 43.

Sophia Asher led Shelbyville with a 48. Riley Everette and Julie Garrison followed with 51s. Hana Stenger carded 53 and Maddy Jones finished at 55.

The Golden Bears are 2-0 in dual matches this season after defeating Mt. Vernon Thursday and New Castle Friday.

Shelbyville is at Speedway today.
