Waldron High School senior forward Lucas Shaw has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Shaw totaled 47 points in two contests over the weekend as the Mohawks improved their record to 8-7.
In a 63-40 home loss to Hauser Friday, the senior was the only Waldron player to reach double figures as he scored 20 points.
Shaw followed that performance with 27 points Saturday in a 62-45 home win over Bethesda Christian.
For the season, Shaw is averaging a team-high 17.3 points per game. He also leads the Mohawks with 6.1 rebounds per game.
Waldron is back in action Friday at Southwestern before hosting Oldenburg Academy Saturday.
