The Red Hill Baseball Salukis got back on the winning track Monday.
They used strong pitching and timely hitting to beat the Robinson Maroons 9-1 at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport. The hosts scored 9 runs on 7 hits and made only 1 error, while the visitors scored 1 run in the top of the first and were shut out the rest of the way on 5 hits and made 4 errors. Carter
Davis picked up the pitching win, going 5 innings and allowing only 1 run, with Peyton Seaney finishing up with 2 innings of scoreless relief. Davis also helped his cause with 2 RBI, and Hayden Arbuckle also drove in 2 while Seaney had 2 hits on the day. The loss snaps a three game losing skid for the Salukis, who are now 5-5 on the season.
They are scheduled to play at Union (Dugger), Indiana, on Tuesday.
