Class 2A, No. 15 Triton Central stormed to an early lead and rolled to a 52-31 victory Thursday over Beech Grove.
The win created a three-way tie for the Indiana Crossroads Conference championship with Beech Grove and Monrovia, who all finished 6-1 against ICC foes.
Maryrose Felling scored 10 of her game-high 21 points in the opening quarter as the Tigers built a 20-10 lead. The junior scored eight more points in the third quarter when her team extended its 27-16 halftime advantage to 48-22.
Sophia Burbrink finished with 14 points to help improve Triton Central to 14-8.
Emma Micks led Beech Grove (11-11) with 14 points.
Triton Central is the host site for Class 2A, Sectional 43 which begins Tuesday with Indianapolis Scecina (10-11) taking on Class 2A, No. 13 Eastern Hancock (19-3).
The Tigers play in the opening game Wednesday against Heritage Christian (9-12), who defeated Triton Central, 77-63, on Nov. 12.
In the second quarterfinal game Wednesday, Christel House (0-10) battles KIPP Indy Legacy (5-9) for a spot in the semifinal round.
Irvington Prep (7-11) drew the bye and will play the winner of the Scecina-Eastern Hancock game Friday in the semifinal opener.

Morristown 61, Indianapolis Lutheran 17
At Indianapolis Lutheran, head coach Rachel Kleine collected career win No. 103 to become the program’s all-time wins leader.
Nevaeh Sanders scored 20 points and added five rebounds, three assists and four steals. Nevaeh Cox finished with 16 points.
Morristown (14-7) led 22-3 after one quarter and 46-9 at halftime.
Lutheran lost its fifth straight to drop to 6-15 this season.
Morristown, winners of six straight, open Class A, Sectional 59 play Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. against Class A, No. 13 Tri (16-7). The Titans defeated the Yellow Jackets, 71-36, on Nov. 12.
If Morristown wins, it will face either Edinburgh (10-12) or North Decatur (15-8) in the opening semifinal game Friday.
Greenwood Christian 44, Southwestern 37
At Southwestern, the Spartans’ regular-season came to an end with its fourth-straight loss.
Greenwood Christian improved to 5-17. The Spartans dropped to 3-20.
Southwestern is the host site for Sectional 59. The Spartans take on Waldron at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will face either Knightstown (11-9) or South Decatur (12-11) in the semifinal round Friday.
