Jonas Kiser poured in 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field but Rochester still dropped a TRC decision Friday.
Lewis Cass prevalied 49-45 despite Kiser scoring 31 of Rochester's 45 points while only taking two three-point field goals and connecting on one. Kiser was also 10-of-14 from the free throw line.
Kiser also led the Zebras with six rebounds.
Lewis Cass (8-3, 4-1 TRC) placed three players in double-figures scoring led by Trey Johnson with 13. Freshman Jaxon Lutane scored 11 and teammate Owen Cotner-Graves added 10.
The loss snapped a modest two-game win streak for Rochester (4-6, 1-2 TRC).
The Zebras will host Caston (9-3) on Tuesday. The game can be heard on GIANT fm Sports WROI.
The Comets had a three-game win streak snapped Saturday by undefeated 5th ranked (1A) West Central, 51-50.
