The Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians used solid pitching and solid offense to win handily 11-1 over Louisville (North Clay) in 5 innings Wednesday at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville.
They scored four runs in the second inning, three in the third and four in the fourth enroute to the win. The Lady Indians had 7 hits on the day led by Erin Harris with 2 hits and 2 RBI, Alyssa Griggs with 1 hit and 2 RBI. The offense backed the good pitching outing by Annalise Green who went all 5 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.
Lawrenceville is now 9-17 and will wrap up the regular season on Saturday in the multi-team Richland County (Olney) Invitational.
