The Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians went 1-3 in action Saturday in the Robinson Invitational Tournament.
They dropped their opener to Fairfield 4-3 and then lost their second contest to Hutsonville-Palestine 5-3 before a win in their final game of the day 9-5 over North Central.
They scored 9 runs on 8 hits and made no errors in the win while holding North Central to 5 runs on 7 hits.
Abby Taylor had 2 hits and a RBI and Allison Evans added 2 hits to lead the offense and Evans also picked up the pitching win, going 6 innings.
The squad is now 7-15 on the season and will return to Robinson Monday for a Little Illini Conference (LIC) game.
