The season came to an end Wednesday for the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians.
They were knocked off by the host Newton Lady Eagles 6-3 in the first semi-final of the Class 2A Newton Regional. Newton will now advance to face Flora in the championship game Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Wolfgals were 2-1 winners over Robinson in the second semi-final.
