The Lawrenceville Lady basketball Indians played their first game in almost three weeks Tuesday night and the rust showed.
They were beaten by the Newton Lady Eagles 76-30 in Little Illini Conference (LIC) play at Lawrenceville.
Addison Sanders led the scoring with 10 points.
The JV also lost to Newton 57-34 with Kenlee Dohony scoring 16 points and Lainey Phipps 14.
The squad is scheduled to play a rescheduled varsity only contest Thursday at North Central (Ind) starting at 5 p.m. CT.
