All five Shelby County boys basketball programs now know their road to a sectional title.
On Sunday, the Indiana High School Athletic Association released the sectional pairings for the 116th Annual Boys Basketball State Tournament.
Sectional games begin on March 3 with sectional champions determined on March 7.
Regional championship games in the four classes are scheduled for March 14. The semistate games follow on March 21.
The four state championship games will take place on March 28 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
Class 3A, Sectional 28
Shelbyville has not won a sectional championship since 2001 but is in a great position with a senior group headed to Greenwood.
The opening game will include the host Woodmen (13-8) taking on Rushville (7-14). The winner returns to the semifinal opener to battle Shelbyville (17-5).
In the other quarterfinal games, Indian Creek (3-17) opens against Beech Grove (8-14) and New Palestine (11-11) takes on Indianapolis Roncalli (13-7).
Shelbyville is 4-0 against potential sectional foes, defeating Rushville, Greenwood, New Palestine and Beech Grove. The Golden Bears bested Rushville, 64-36, in the season opener and topped Greenwood on Dec. 16, 67-58 at Garrett Gymnasium.

Class 2A, Sectional 43
Triton Central is the defending sectional champion and has the most wins of any team this season in the sectional field. None of that figured into the sectional draw that may be the toughest for the Tigers.
In the only game on March 3, Irvington Prep (9-11) faces KIPP Indy Legacy (8-14) with the winner advancing to the semifinal round to square off with 2A No. 10 Indianapolis Scecina (16-6).
On March 4, Christel House (9-12) battles Heritage Christian (10-10) for a berth in the semifinals.
The quarterfinal round closes with 2A No. 7 Triton Central (18-3) taking on Eastern Hancock (12-8) for the second time this season. The Tigers defeated the Royals, 66-48, on Jan. 31.
Class A, Sectional 59
The eight-team sectional at Tri High School has five teams with at least 11 wins.
The opening night of the sectional features all three Shelby County schools. In game one, Waldron (14-7) takes on Southwestern (5-14) for the third time this season. The Mohawks won both those games.
In game two, the host Titans (12-9) face Morristown (16-5) for the second time this year. Tri defeated the Yellow Jackets, 40-35, on Dec. 30.
The winners will meet in the first semifinal game.
In the bottom half of the bracket, Knightstown (8-11) opens against Edinburgh (8-13) then South Decatur (14-6) battles North Decatur (11-12), the defending sectional champion.
