The Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup final Thursday night, giving them a 3-0 series lead and bringing Edmonton to the brink of elimination.
Aleksander Barkov and Sergei Bobrovsky led the Panthers, with Barkov setting up a goal and scored another, while Bobrovsky made 32 saves. Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett and Vladimir Tarasenko also scored, to keep the Oilers at bay despite them mounting a rally in the third-period which inevitably fell short.
The Panthers will attempt to win their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history when they meet the Oilers in Game 4 on Saturday night on Edmonton.
