At the IHSA Class 1A State Wrestling finals at the State Farm Center in Champaign Thursday, Dylan Camden of the Lawrenceville-Red Hill Wrestling Indians lost his first round match in the 285 pound class. He was defeated in a fall at 3:13 by Jaylen Torres of St Francis. Torres (19-1) went on to win by fall in the quarterfinals and has advanced to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Camden (39-14) was scheduled to wrestle Dawson Thayer (37-12) in the wrestleback round. The 1A state tournament continues Friday with 1A and 2A wrestlebacks to begin at 11 a.m. The finals are Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
