The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals with a 126-110 win on Thursday night to take a 2-0 series lead.
Boston led for most of the game, with Jaylen Brown scoring a game-high 40 points, and Jayson Tatum adding 23 points in the second half. The Pacers suffered a tough loss when Tyrese Haliburton was ruled out in the second half with left leg soreness. Haliburton had 10 points and eight assists in 27 minutes before exiting the game.
Game 3 of the series will take place on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
