The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks with a 105-98 win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday at TD Garden in Boston.
Jrue Holiday led the Celtics to victory with 26 points, while Jaylen Brown scored 21, and Jayson Tatum scoring 18. For the Mavs, Luka Dončić had a game-high 32 points to lead, finishing with 11 assists and 11 rebounds for a triple-double. Dončić was listed as probable Sunday morning with a sprained right knee and left ankle soreness, but was downgraded to questionable in the afternoon with a bruised chest thanks to a chest contusion he suffered in Game 1, but he was cleared to play after going through his pregame warmup routine.
The Celtics hold a 2-0 series lead, with the series shifting to Dallas for Game 3 on Wednesday, June 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
