Paxton Gher had 4 RBI on 2 hits to help the Parkview Baseball Braves come from behind to beat Casey-Westfield 8-5 at Casey Tuesday. They fell behind 5-0 after 4 innings but were able to overcome the deficit. They took a 6-5 lead in the top of the 6th with Audie Taylor hitting a 2 run double. He had two hits on the day. The Braves scored 8 runs on 6 hits and won despite committing 4 errors while the hosts scored 5 runs on 5 hits and made 2 errors. Ethan Metz drew three of 10 walks issued by Casey pitching, which helped the cause. Gher started on the mound and went 3 innings and allowed 4 runs on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk and Teagan Rolland finished up with 4 innings of relief allowing 2 hits and 1 run with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. With the victory, Parkview is now 2-1 and will be off until Saturday when they play a doubleheader at Newton. The Thursday game with Flora has been cancelled.
