Travis Lee Wilson, age 88, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at his residence.

Travis Lee Wilson, age 88, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at his residence. He was born September 14, 1937, in Henderson, Tennessee, the son of Temple Oliver Wilson and Robbie Ola Tucker-Smith. He married Nancy Lee Schultz January 26, 1974, and she survives.

Travis retired from Snap-On Tools in Mt. Carmel in 1999 and later worked at the Vincennes Walmart following his retirement. A proud veteran, he served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Travis enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially bass fishing and trying his luck playing the lottery. He was known for his playful spirit and especially loved teasing his grandchildren, bringing laughter and joy to his family.

Preceding Travis in death were his parents, brothers, Don Wilson, Troy Wilson, Charles Wilson and Oliver Wilson; sisters, Junell Spence and Berenice Hunter.

Survivors include: his wife, Nancy; children, Tammi (Jim) Rinard of Robinson, Connie (Keith) Bosecker of Vincennes, Indiana, Christopher (Amber) Evans of Conway, Arkansas, Rebecca (William) Gray of Normal, Illinois; brother, Mike Wilson of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Geraldine Earl of Houston, Texas; eleven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 2, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. till the service hour of 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesleyan Christian Church, 804 4th Street in Lawrenceville.
