Thomas A. "Tom" Danner, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Franciscan Health.
Born November 4, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of Louis Earl and Mary Ann (Smalley) Danner.
Survivors include a daughter- Tasha Danner (Neal Hevel) of Oregon; a brother Dennis Danner (Rhonda) of Waldron, a sister Risa Poland (Loren) of Columbus; the mother of Tom's daughter- Kathy of Indianapolis; a niece Dawn Danner (Sue Cook), 2 great nieces- Hailey Perkins (Amber Corduan); and Emily Perkins (Quinten Steele). He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Scott Allen Danner.
Mr. Danner had lived for most of his lifetime in this area, and graduated from Brookville High School in 1966. He worked in manufacturing at KT Corporation/Truimph for 37 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of Jehovah's
Witness of Shelbyville, and was a US Navy Vietnam veteran.
Tom enjoyed fishing, the great outdoors, and loved his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
