
Robert “Bob” Sutton, 73, of Rochester, passed away at 1:38 A.M on Monday, October 13, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on January 17, 1952, in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Virgil and Erma (Rock) Sutton. On January 8, 1972, at the Church of God in Akron, Indiana, he married Kathleen “Kathy” (Crippen) Sutton, and she survives him.
Bob was a proud veteran of the Army Reserves and served his country proudly. He was a parts manager for the agriculture industry, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting guns and rifles. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He was also a long-time member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Rochester, Indiana, where he was proud to greet you at the door and introduce himself to you and say, “Hi, my name is Bob, spelled the same forward and backward”.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Sutton, Rochester, Indiana, son, Robert “Rob” (Laura) Sutton, Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Amy (T.J.) Conrad, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Kyle Sutton, Trent Sutton, Grace Sutton, all of Decatur, Indiana, Addison Conrad, Greenfield, Indiana, sisters, Karen (Doug) Gladden, Morris, Illinois, Kristie (Alan) Amos, Rushville, Indiana, brothers, Ron Sutton, Rochester, Indiana, and Roy (Martha) Sutton, Rochester, Indiana. Preceding Bob in death were his parents, a sister, Connie Sutton, and sister-in-law Cindy Sutton.
Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 17, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3516 N. 650 E. Rochester, Indiana.
Burial will be conducted at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana, with the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard to perform military rites.
