Peggy Sue (Douglas) Purdy passed away August 11, 2026, at the age of 68.
She was born December 27, 1957 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Peggy worked at Union Hospital for over 20 years. She had a passion for serving others in need. She was also a loyal Survivor fan.
She is survived by her boyfriend Frank, daughter Kristi, son-in-law Johnny, granddaughter Heather (Zachary), grandson Johnny (Emily), great granddaughters Kyla, Asher, and future baby girl; sister Debbie, brother Freddy, niece Jacqueline, nephew Walt, and many more nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held Monday, August 17, from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at Mattox-Wood. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery.
