Neal “Panhead” Hull passed away on January 1, 2026, in Hillsboro, Texas, doing what he loved.
Neal is survived by his four children: Ira Wayne Hull and wife Amy Hull of Springfield, Missouri; Tracey Lynn Price and husband Jordi Price of Lawrenceville, Illinois; Sarah Rose Hull Zemaitis and husband Dan Zemaitis of Munster, Indiana; and John Michael Hull and wife Melissa Jane Hull of Highland, Indiana. He is also survived by his favorite child, Bandit “Rottie” Hull, age 3, of Hillsboro, Texas.
Neal leaves behind six grandchildren: Jordan Leavitt Price, Austin Price, Saylor Price, David Hull, Zoe Zemaitis, and Dax Zemaitis, as well as one great-grandchild, Riggin Price.
He is also survived by his siblings: brother Ralph Leo Hull and wife Barbara Hull of Arlington, Texas, and sister Arlene Lynch and husband Doug Lynch of Lawrenceville, Illinois. Neal is further survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
Neal was preceded in death by his father, Ira Hull; his mother, Billie Bernice Hull; and his brothers, Larry Hull and Bill Hull.
Neal enjoyed the outdoors and had a deep love for hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycles. He appreciated the finer things in life, including a good cigar, Mexican beer, and a great margarita. Above all, he cherished time spent with friends and family. Neal loved going fast and living free.
He dedicated 40 years of service to Gerdau Midlothian Steel Fabrication, retiring in 2023.
There will be a celebration of life February 14th at the Bridgeport Moose Lodge from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
