Linda K. Migonis, 79, Rochester, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, in Rochester, Indiana.
She was born on September 7, 1946 in Rochester, Indiana, the daughter of Howard and Bonnie (Zartman) Summers. On March 29, 1980 in Rochester, Indiana, she married Richard “Rich” Migonis. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2017.
Linda had worked for Dr. Quinlan at the Fulton County Veterinarian Clinic and retired from Wal-Mart as Claims Manager. She enjoyed rock collecting, working on her rock beds, mowing her yard, reading, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. She had a passion for animals and rescued as many as she could. She felt a great need to help children and pets. She donated to Boys Town Ministry, multiple animal organizations, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Survivors include her children, Jayson (Jessica) Migonis, Kewanna, Indiana, Dannielle Lynch, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Carter Migonis, Kewanna, Indiana, Laynie Migonis, Rochester, Indiana, Aurora Caudill, Kewanna, Indiana, Elijah Hall, Rochester, Indiana, Carria Walker, Rochester, Indiana, Dakota Lambert, Rochester, Indiana, five great grandchildren, sister, Karen Waltz, Rochester, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Theodore “Ted” James Migonis, brother, Howard L. “Hawk” Summers, and brother-in-law, Richard Waltz.
To honor Linda’s wishes, no services will be scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center.
