Cathy Lynn Shedrow, 72, of Monterey, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN.
She was born on September 17, 1952 in Winamac, IN to the late Donald G. and Alice F. (Reinholt) Peterson. Cathy graduated from Culver High School in 1971 and attended Bible College in Missouri. On April 21, 1972, she married the love of her life Lane A. Shedrow at the Methodist Church in Winamac. He survives.
Cathy was a bank teller for over 30 years at the Monterey Branch of the First National Bank of Monterey. She was a true people person and it showed in the way she cared for her customers and friends. Cathy attended the Heartland Church in Winamac where she lovingly participated on the Care Team. She loved Jesus and served Him faithfully throughout her life.
Cathy enjoyed the homemaker life. She was always busy and could be found gardening, canning, cooking, or baking. Most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT Monday, August 4, 2025 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
Services will be held at 10 AM EDT Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Pastor Dawn Williamson officiating.
Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Church.
