Cathy Lou Offutt, 74, of Peru, Indiana, passed away at 8:21 A.M., Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo, Indiana.
She was born on August 29, 1951 in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of William Edward and Catherine (Hicks) Featherstone. On March 15, 1997 at the Alto United Methodist Church in Kokomo, Indiana, she married Thomas Offutt and he survives.
Cathy had been a homemaker. She had been a member of the Old Lighthouse Tabernacle Church, Tipton County, Indiana and formerly of the Eagles Lodge in Kokomo. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, gardening and was a passionate animal lover.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Offutt, Peru, Indiana, children, Stacy (Paul “Mike”) Parsons, Peru, Indiana, Brian (Tash) Ege, Peru, Indiana, step sons, Gregory D. Offutt, Georgia, Timothy Scott Offutt, Washington, grandchildren, Morgan Dixon, Georgia, Daniel Scott, Wabash, Indiana, Gregory “R.T.” Offutt, Georgia, Aubrey Troyer, Fulton, Indiana, three great grandchildren, brother, Rick Featherstone, Kokomo, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William Edward Featherstone, mother, Catherine Rust, son, David Scott Arredondo, grandson, Jordan Lynn Scott, brother, David Featherstone.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.
Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Paw Paw Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.
