Barbara Ann Nelson, 86, of Winamac, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home Winamac.
Barbara was born on January 17, 1939 in Deridder, LA to Clyde and Viola (Smith) Perkins. She married Stanley Roger Nelson, Sr. on September 14, 1956 in the state of Mississippi. Stanley Roger passed away on September 20, 2010.
Barbara’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her laughs and giggles are the biggest things she was remembered by. She loved reading and spending time with the Lord in prayer. Barbara was a southern peach who loved to garden, cook big meals for her family and was an excellent bowler.
Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Private Services will be held at a later date.
