On Friday, May 17, Webster Elementary School in Plymouth will host the first ever “Walking for Warriors” event where all staff and students will be walking from Webster Elementary downtown to Riverpark Square throughout the day.
This demonstration is to bring awareness and raise funds for "DIPG: The Cure Starts Now" in honor of student Carter King who passed earlier this year, and Riley Children’s Hospital for a couple other Webster families battling cancer.
Beginning with kindergarten at 11:20 each grade level will start the walk from Webster to Riverpark in about twenty-minute increments.
