The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports that they picked up a wanted local man early on Tuesday June 2nd.
39-year-old Jerry Cessna Jr. of Lawrenceville was being sought on an out of county arrest warrant and taken into custody just after 2 a.m. He was also discovered to be armed and was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Cessna was transported to the Lawrence County Jail in Lawrenceville and was booked in. He was being held on the outstanding warrant for transport.
