Unnecessary Extras continues to grow at new location in Rochester Plaza

Unnecessary Extras has officially relocated to its new home at 91 Rochester Plaza last month and owner, Lisa Fellers, said business is booming. 

First starting at a small shop on Main St with around 14 vendors, the new location has allowed room to grow for their current 52 vendors at the shop.  Fellers said she is thankful for the support of her vendors and customers over the years. Fellers said although the transition was a shift, the move went smoothly thanks to their teamwork during the move. 

Fellers said the new location not only provides more room for vendors and shoppers, it also offers customers more space to park in the Rochester Plaza parking lot. 

The move has also been a hit with the store's resident shop cats, who have quickly made the front windows their favorite place to lounge and watch visitors come and go.

Fellers said while the address has changed, their store mission has not. Unnecessary Extras remains committed to providing a fun, welcoming shopping experience while supporting local small businesses and creating a place where the community can gather, explore, and discover something unexpected.

"The additional space allows us to continue growing while offering the same friendly atmosphere and unique shopping experience our customers have come to expect. Hours at the store at Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
