The Lawrence Unit #20 Board of Education met in a special session Thursday and approved some personnel matters effective for the 2024-25 school term. Andrew Malone was hired as the new Lawrenceville High School (LHS) principal, replacing Lance Boldt. He has been the LHS assistant principal for the past two years. Longtime Parkview teacher Chrystal Holmes was hired as the new District Cirriculum/Instructional Coach. This new position will focus on aligning the cirriculum for the district as well as working with new teachers to the district. Holmes has worked in Language Arts for the past 12 years at Parkview Junior High.
