Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop reports that two men were recently sentenced to prison during appearances in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
31-year-old Jarred Lee of Lawrenceville was charged with Failure to Report to a Penal Institution, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. He was given a term of 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). That will run consecutively with his current state sentence and will be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
28-year-old Prince Uche, a former inmate at the Lawrence Correctional Center at Sumner, was charged with Aggravated Battery of a Nurse, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. He was handed a two-year sentence in the IDOC to be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
