Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Red Rock Inn on North Michigan Street on October 15, at 11:45 p.m. for reports of a fight in progress.
21-year-old Justus Shotts of Plymouth was combative with the police and highly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and told police that he had been robbed by a neighbor who was armed with a knife. The robbery suspect was identified as Thomas Wall, 32, of Plymouth.
During the investigation, search warrants were obtained for two rooms at the Red Rock after suspected drugs were seen and believed to be present. As a result, multiple suspected drugs and paraphernalia were located.
Shotts was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, public intoxication, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a legend drug, and possession of paraphernalia.
Wall is held with no bond in the County Jail on preliminary charges of robbery, dealing a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of paraphernalia.
