Triton Central's girls basketball team has announced it will host the 17th Annual Pink Out game on Jan. 24 in conjunction with its game against Roncalli.
The event honors breast cancer survivors with all proceeds going to the Indiana Women In Need (IWIN) foundation. Over it first 16 years, the Pink Out game has raised $253,943.
If you know someone who has fought breast cancer, is fighting breast cancer, or has lost the fight to breast cancer, the Triton Central girls basketball program would like to honor them.
Survivors, and their family, are invited to a catered meal, a survivor celebration parade, and a short program that takes place between the junior varsity and varsity games on Jan. 24. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. The parade starts at approximately 7 p.m.
To participate in the dinner and parade, contact Melanie Garrison at melanie91984@yahoo.com.
There also will be a Silent Auction that starts at 5 p.m. and concludes at the end of halftime of the varsity game.
There are several ways to participate in the Pink Out event.
- Volunteer during the event
- Donate a Silent Auction item/gift
- Issue a monetary donation
- Become a sponsor on the video board and through public address announcements during the event
