Alex Ann Allen is a traveling multidisciplinary artist who grew up near the South Bend Farmers Market and is excited to bring her art to this historic site. The primary focus of her work is portraiture and large-scale geometric murals. Alex is also the founder and lead curator of “Mural Mania”, an annual mural festival drawing artists from throughout the country to her native South Bend.

The South Bend Farmers Market was incorporated in 1924 and continues to offer the same benefits to the community as it did at the beginning: fresh, home-grown produce (fruits and vegetables), dairy products, meats, poultry, eggs, maple syrup, jams, jellies, flowers, handcrafts, artwork, jewelry, gift items, and many more unique items. The Market is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-2 and on Saturdays from 7–3.
The South Bend Farmer’s Market is a South Bend landmark that is proud of its history. On July 20, the Market invites everyone in the community to its 100th Birthday Party from 9 am to 2 pm.
