The Shelbyville News has announced it will only print on Wednesdays and Saturdays in 2025.
News and sports stories will continue to be posted to its website, which requires a subscription for full access.
The reduction in days of printing the newspaper, now in its seventh decade of operation, is attributed to “rising costs of delivery and associated postal rate increases,” according to a story printed in the most recent weekend edition.
The Shelby County Post is a digital newspaper producing news, sports, obituaries and more without a pay wall or subscription needed.
