The Shelby County Traffic Safety Partnership that is comprised of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department and the Shelbyville Police Department is in the middle of patrols focused on stop arm violations for school buses.
As a reminder, officers will be following school buses and patrolling school bus zones to ensure safety for students.
During the remainder of August through September 14 the partnership will be working Blitz 134 Impaired Driving, Drug Impaired Driving. The hope is to saturate the area with a presence to deter any type of impaired or dangerous driving.
The Shelby County Traffic Safety Partnership would also like to thank the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and the Shelby County Drug Free Coalition for funding these extra patrols.
